Connie lives on a houseboat moored in front of a Naples that looks like
hers, but really isn't.
A phone call, a memory that makes too much noise and a volcano ready to erupt drag her into the
Under-Naples: an
oneiric and distorted version of the city, where fears take shape and speak with her own voice.
Along the way she will meet ambiguous allies, symbolic figures such as the Musician, and darker
presences tied to
Vesuvius and to her past. Every street is a fragment of memory, every crossroads an emotional
choice to face.
Disquieted is a 2.5D action game set in the Under-Naples, where anxiety
and stress are not just atmosphere, but part of the
core system.
Between dashes, parries, close-range attacks and moments of vulnerability, every encounter
demands attention and control.
Stress Mode pushes you to the limit, makes the world more aggressive and forces you into quick
decisions; Focus Mode slows
down time, lets you read the scene, breathe and react with precision.
The result is a rhythmic, tense and physical combat system that turns Connie's inner pressure
into pure
gameplay.
From the Upper-Naples, more narrative and suspended, to the Under-Naples,
made of narrow alleys, neon signs and shadows
that are too alive: Disquieted builds a world where every detail tells something about Connie's
anxiety.
Scroll through the images to preview environments, enemies and gameplay snippets:
polished movement, hand-drawn animations, lights and colors that follow the protagonist's
emotional state and
turn every fight into a small crisis to push through.
We are working to bring Disquieted to Steam in Early Access:
a shared journey where anxiety, feedback and
iteration are as much a part of the process as the demons that haunt the Under-Naples.
